9月5日 [zz]Free to fly with the windOne windy spring day, I observed young people having fun using the wind to fly their kites. Multicolored creations of varying shapes and sizes filled the skies like beautiful birds darting and dancing. As the strong winds gusted against the kites, a string kept them in check.
Instead of blowing away with the wind, they arose against it to achieve great heights. They shook and pulled, but the restraining string and the cumbersome tail kept them in tow, facing upward and against the wind. As the kites struggled and trembled against the string, they seemed to say, “Let me go! Let me go! I want to be free!” They soared beautifully even as they fought the restriction of the string. Finally, one of the kites succeeded in breaking loose. “Free at last,” it seemed to say. “Free to fly with the wind.” Yet freedom from restraint simply put it at the mercy of an unsympathetic breeze. It fluttered ungracefully to the ground and landed in a tangled mass of weeds and string against a dead bush. “Free at last” free to lie powerless in the dirt, to be blown helplessly along the ground, and to lodge lifeless against the first obstruction. How much like kites we sometimes are. The Heaven gives us adversity and restrictions, rules to follow from which we can grow and gain strength. Restraint is a necessary counterpart to the winds of opposition. Some of us tug at the rules so hard that we never soar to reach the heights we might have obtained. We keep part of the commandment and never rise high enough to get our tails off the ground. Let us each rise to the great heights, recognizing that some of the restraints that we may chafe under are actually the steadying force that helps us ascend and achieve. 9月4日 考研讲座 昨晚跟着同学一起去广大听启航的考研讲座。虽然早先由于各种原因我已经决定不考研了，但是对考研还是有点向往的，确切的说对考研人学习疯狂状态的向往。也许有人可能会说不考研，你照样可以疯狂，高考还不是这样过来的吗？！可是没有压力我始终疯狂不起来。。。 说回昨晚的讲座我的感受。周围考研人的亢奋包围着，他们是那样的聚精会神，飞快做着他们认为的有用的笔记。而我只是以一个观察者的身份关注周围的一切，当然也包括演讲者——商志。他充满激情，幽默，才华横溢，还有一大特点就是喜欢拍桌子，一场讲座下来，我发现他的手掌已经通红  。我是全场唯一不做笔记的人，虽然我是以观察者的身份，但并代表我对讲座内容的无视。考研人要注意了，carry只考“有”这个意思，而且考研专业人士只懂这个意思，这个例子商志至少讲了不下8次。还有subscribe、probe、popular（这个是我唯一猜中考研意思的，可是商志对我的现场回答无视，哼！）。他说你对这些单词意思回答，就可表明你是考研专业人士还是考研业余爱好者，哈哈，有点意思。my good friends 你们不妨测试一下自己。还有一个比较牛的举例的例句，for instance是土鳖的用法，"there are upsetting parallels of today in our society today"才是正道，嘻嘻，有机会用在cet-6上啦，评卷老师看到肯定一阵眩晕，呵呵。hence+n.(抽象名词）。。。一个没有动词令人梦游的句子，也一定要会翻。说了这么多，我是否有点XX专业人士味道呢^_^ 上面的全是我凭记忆写下的，无用任何参考文献，记忆力不错的说，呵呵。 商志还分析了出题人的变态，只考你不会的那个意思，因为他当初就是这样被人整过的，所以今天非弄s你不可。同时他还类推另一职业的人——辅导员，一个性格扭曲、变态的人。他当年做学生时定被他的辅导员整过不少，所以现在机会到了，一定搞s你们这些新兵蛋子（大一新生）。一代传一代啊，没办法啊，如果你做了辅导员。。。 so。。。 哈哈，我非常同意商志的逻辑。 6月17日 我会这样牵着你Ozu Yasujiro（小津安二郎） had a film , "Tokyo Story" Described an elderly couple to Tokyo to see their children.
